Bio

Kathleen Kaczuwka Lynch has been doing bodywork since 1989, after attending Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy (now CenterPoint), Minneapolis, MN.  She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, has studied Medical Intuitive Training and Quantum Healing and also has extensive training in Lomi Lomi Massage. In addition to her private practice in Uptown Minneapolis she is a Massage Therapist at The Marsh, A Center for Balance and Fitness, in Minnetonka, MN. Kathleen received her college training in Emotional Behavior Disorder Education (special education) and Elementary Education from The University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida (1975) and was a teacher for some years.  She trained and volunteered as a Para Professional Counselor of Survivors of Sexual Assault at the Sexual Violence Center in Minneapolis, MN and as a Healing Touch Volunteer providing treatments to Cardiac ICU patients at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.  Kathleen has been a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) for over 26 years, received a Sports Massage Certification with the AMTA and was a member of their National Sports Massage Team when it was active, and was an officer in the MN AMTA.  She is a charter member of The Healing Touch Program (HTP) and a Professional member of Healing Touch International (HTI), where she holds certifications from both.  Kathleen became a Laughter Yoga Leader through Laura Gentry’s Iowa School of Laughter Yoga after learning about it by starting every morning of a four-day conference with Laughter Yoga.

Kathleen is a life long learner, taking classes, studying and reading.  She currently studies and practices Restorative Yoga and meditation. Spending time with family, friends and dog, Ayden, taking walks, biking, traveling,  looking for new and interesting vegetarian recipes, and trying to keep up with the rabbits, deer and squirrels in her gardens are many of the things that keep her happy and embracing joy.

Her extensive training in Massage and Energy Therapies allow for a unique healing experience.  Preventative bodywork helps keep the body strong and healthy; it is wise and wants to be in harmony with mind and spirit, living a joyful experience.  Kathleen emphasizes her client’s comfort and participation in the process, validating each client’s uniqueness, integrating modalities to provide an exceptional experience, helping the body find harmony.  Confidentiality is also important to Kathleen.  She never shares with anyone that you are her client or any information about you.  You may tell others that you are her client but she will not divulge that information unless you request it.
